Soduko now features in newspapers, magazine and puzzle
books all over the world. In the UK, where sudoku has become increasingly
popular, you can find Sodukos in the Times newspaper the telegraph
and the Mail. There are even puzzles in the Sun however they have
imaginatively rebranded the puzzle SunDoku.
Soduko was actually first published in a magazine
by Dell in America. It was originally called number place. However
it later became very popular in puzzle books in Japan under the
name it now goes by, Soduko. Soduko puzzle books continue to be
extremely popular in Japan, with the key demographic reading these
books being women aged 50 plus however its also popular with
the gents.
